PRODUCT:
To meet the needs of the Brewing Industry, Applied Bottling offers the Automatic Can Filler and Seamer (CFS), a compact table top machine that takes up less than 6 square feet of working space. The CFS is a single-head CO2 purge and fill, and single station seamer. Cans are placed into an infeed carriage and are then automatically transferred throughout the filling system. This process will require one full-time operator.  

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:
Can Transfer – The CFS has a gravity infeed system that places a can in the correct position and orientation for a continuous smooth transfer of cans throughout the system.  

Filling Process – The system utilizes a CO2 pre-purge and long tube fill. Product is filled under a blanket of CO2 created by a CO2 pre-purge. A secondary CO2 jet determines fill volumes and also creates a layer of foam protecting the product from atmosphere. Can lids are placed on the cans immediately after filling so as to reduce possible O2 pick-up while awaiting transfer to the seamer.  

Seaming - Full cans are pneumatically lifted into place and in contact with a rotating inner die. The system then utilizes a dual seaming cycle so as to ensure a sanitary seal and mechanical seal.

Outfeed System - Completed cans are automatically ejected onto a pack-off area.

OPERATING CAPACITIES:
System capacities are up to 6 cans per minute depending on can size. Requires 21.5" x 26.5" tabletop footprint for machine, 14" x 6" for panel (Custom table optional)
