6 Inline Filler Crowner for Beer
Model: IFS-6/12 6 Inline Filler Crowner for Beer
Capacity: 20bpm @ 355 ml Expandable to 40bpm
Six Head Inline Filler (Expandable to 12 Heads)
- Bottles are indexed into a bottle transfer carriage via a throughfeed conveyor.
- The transfer carriage shifts the bottles from the conveyor to a filling station which is located to one side of the conveyor.
- Once the bottles are in place, the filling heads lower onto bottles.
- Upper seal floats on fill tube and is pneumatically actuated onto top of bottle when fill tube is at proper depth in bottle ensuring a proper seal on the bottle regardless of any differences in bottle heights.
- Fill Valves are easily adjusted to change bottle sizes with no change parts.
- CO2 is injected into the botttom of the bottle forcing O2 out of the top of the bottle through a purge valve. After a sufficient volume of CO2 is injected into the bottle, the purge valve closes and the bottle is brought up to filling pressure before CO2 is shut off.
- Product and Vent valves open and allow product to flow into the bottle at an adjustable controlled rate. At no time is the product in contact with O2 as it is released into the bottle under a blanket of CO2.
- When the fill height reaches the desired level, the product valve shuts off while the vent valve remains open allowing pressure to bleed off at an adjustable rate so as to ensure a proper fill height is acheived on every fill.
- FOB can be controlled via the rate of snift from the head space of the bottle.
- Fill Heads lift off the bottles
- Bottles are immediately transferred back onto the conveyor and released to the crowning station.
Notes:
All parameters of the filling process are easily adjusted via the operator interface.
An additional Bottle transfer and fill head assembly can be easily added to the system and will double the production output.
Single or Double Pre-evacuation cycles can be added as an option.
Six Head Rotary Crowner
- Bottles are fed into the crowner’s indexing star wheel via the thoughfeed conveyor.
- Bottles are mechanically transferred under crowning heads and a bottle crown is sealed onto top of bottle.
- Bottles exit the crowner via the discharge starwheel back onto the throughfeed conveyor.
- Crowns are machanically fed into the crowner via a crown hopper and rotating orientation system.
- A new crown will only be fed into the crowning head if the previous bottle was crowned.
- Change parts are available for variations in bottle diameters.
Notes:
The Production capacity of the crowner is much greater than that of the filler which ensures that all bottles are immediately crowned after filling. A CO2 tunnel can be installed between the filler and crowner as an added protection from atmosphere if required.
Conveying System
- Our throughfeed conveying system runs independently of the filling and crowning systems.
- We use industry standard low friction side flexing plastic chain and conveyor components.
- Drive motor is controlled through a Variable Frequency Drive controller whch allows the operator flexibility in conveyor speeds

We offer the system with a straight throughfeed conveyor as a base.
The Filler and Crowner system can be easily integrated into any existing conveying system.
If a custom layout is required, we will design and build a complete package to suit your exact requirements.
Rotary Rinser
- 8 Head Rotary Rinser Unit, capacity up to 50bpm
- Bottles are fed into the rinser from the infeed conveyor via an infeed starwheel.
- Bottles are clamped at the neck and inverted as they rotate around the perimeter of the rinser turret.
- Rinsing solution is injected into the bottle and allowed to drain before bottle is re-inverted and transferred back onto the conveyor via an outfeed starwheel.
- The rinser detects whether a bottle is in place prior to starting the rinse jet.
- Change parts are available for variations in bottle diameters.
Labeling System
- We will supply and integrate any labeler into our Inline Filling System as required.
